These delicate vintage c1950s post earrings in 14K yellow gold showcase two prong-set oval faceted rubies, each measuring 4.5mm (L) x 3mm (W) x approx. 2mm (D) for a total estimated carat weight of 0.22 CT each or 0.44 CTW for the pair. On each earring, the rubies are ringed by a halo of small sparkly 1mm diamonds, with a further three diamonds channel set within the curved drop. There are thus a total of thirteen (13) diamonds per earrring, or twenty six (26) in the pair. The rubies and diamonds have been verified as genuine with a presidium gem tester. The earrings are hallmarked on the posts for 14K gold. The total weight of the pair is 2.1 grams. The overall dimensions of each earring is: 15.4mm (L) x 7.2mm (W) x 4.5mm (depth, measured at the ruby). The drops curve backwards. They are in excellent condition, but were missing original butterflies (as photographed). I have added these and two butterflies will be included with the earrings.
